Digitales Fest der Kulturen // Digital Festival of Cultures
Dear Students,
Every year, the International CultureCafé (IKC) takes you on a journey around the world. This year’s IKC will be held digitally from June 14th to June 25th, and we need your support! Participate in the upcoming IKC’s Festival of Cultures and represent either your own culture or a former host country’s culture from a stay abroad! Everything from traditional art and music to culinary specialties and live performances can be presented at this year’s Festival of Cultures. There are numerous ways to do so digitally:
- Cooking night
- Presentation of traditional clothing
- Presentation of your own short film/ video
- Musical performances
- Cultural quiz
- Live dance workshop
- Poetry slam
- Mini language course and much more!
There’s no limit to your creativity! Submissions for the Festival of Cultures 2021 are being accepted until May 27th. If agreed upon in advance, submission at a later date is possible. Also, you will receive payment for your involvement in the Festival of Cultures depending on the extent and content of your participation.
I want to participate, but how do I register?
Send an email to kultur@asta.tu-dortmund.de by May 29th and shortly explain what you would like to do.
I have an idea that I’d like to present, but I’m not sure if it’s possible to do it digitally. Can I still participate?
Don’t worry! Send us an email with your idea and we will help you with the (digital) implementation.
