Call for DigitalChangeMaker 2026
Without students, there are no universities – and without a student voice, there is no change. Do you agree? Then apply now by November 30 for the DigitalChangeMaker cohort 2026! In the student initiative of the Higher Education Forum on Digitalization (HFD), you can contribute your ideas for the university world of the future. Starting in January, an exciting annual program awaits you with various opportunities for participation.
As a DigitalChangeMaker…
- you will develop visions for a future-oriented university world together with other students across disciplines,
- you will work for one year on an exciting and practical project in one of three thematic tracks (Learning, Society, or AI) addressing current challenges in higher education,
- you will grow into student experts through workshops and targeted mentoring, enhance interdisciplinary skills such as public speaking or project management, and represent the student voice not only at your university but also on national and international stages,
- you will present your project results at the University:Future Festival 2026 in Berlin,
- and you will become part of a nationwide engaged community of students, other university members, as well as actors from politics and society.
Your commitment averages two to four hours per week and is organized flexibly through digital collaboration and occasional in-person events. You can find all information about the call for applications, the application process, and the annual program here: https://hfd.digital/lz6ob
