As students at TU Dortmund, you can use the metropolradruhr bike-sharing system for free. To do so, you’ll need to register in the Donkey Republic app using your TU email address. This should activate a student account, which will allow you to take advantage of the following rates:

Here’s how to activate your account:
- Register with your TU email address in the Donkey Republic app
- Go to “Memberships”
- Select the TU Dortmund student rate
- Verify your cell phone number.
- You’ll need to add a payment method, just in case you go over the 60-minute limit.
- Your benefits are now activated.
