AStA HEAD OFFICERS

The Chair presides over the AStA, takes on much of the organisational work to fulfil the tasks of the AStA and the legal supervision of the student body. We represent the positions and wishes of the student body towards the university and outside the campus. If you have any questions or comments about student self-administration, you can always contact us!

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICERS

The Department of Finance and Student Councils deals with the financial matters of the student body and the student councils. These funds are based on the number of students in a student council. With this money, the student council can, for example, organize cool activities for its students. In addition to working with the student councils, the department manages the student body’s budget and works to advance the digitalization of the StuPa and the AStA in a future-oriented manner.

We are constantly endeavouring to present ourselves authentically as an organ of the student body. We are always open to questions and suggestions!

Our Tasks:

OFFICE FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND MOBILITY

The Department of Sustainability and Mobility represents the interests of the student body in matters of ecological, social and future-orientated university policy. The aim is to shape the framework conditions at the university in such a way that sustainable student life is as easy and accessible as possible for everyone. This includes the canteen: healthy, affordable and sustainable food options should be strengthened and secured in the long term. The department is also committed to concrete improvements in the area of mobility. These include more reliable public transport connections and a more attractive cycling infrastructure on campus and in the city. Quality of stay is another important aspect. Last but not least, sustainability should also be more firmly anchored in teaching and student engagement. In order to achieve these goals, your ideas, initiatives and active participation are expressly welcome.
