Chief Financial Officer Wanted!
You want to volunteer in (university) politics? The General Student Committee (AStA) is looking for a person that wants to become the new chief financial officer during the legislation 2026/27. The work amounts to ca. 20 hours per week and is compensated with 992€ per month.
You tasks:
- budgeting planning for the student body
- check the placing of the AStA relief fund
- financial counseling of the student body’s working groups
- factual check of the fiance regulations
This you should bring with you:
- German as your native language or on C2 level
- good knowledge of numbers/excel
- self organized and independent work
- interest and motivation regarding the topic finance
- being on campus at least three times per week
- study abroad is not possible
- good communication skills
This is also useful:
- knowledge about accounting and budget planning
- knowledge about university politics and the structure of the student body
- having fun with organizational work
- reading legal texts and guidelines
- having fun dealing with numbers
Info: This is not an ordinary student job. It is a political office, therefore you should be ready to become an active member of the student body and represent the interests of all students at TU Dortmund university. Therefore, you will have to be elected by the student parliament.
