There are the following options for printing and copying on the TU Dortmund/FH Dortmund campus.

• Copyshop of the AStA of the FH Dortmund (Emil-Figge-Str. 38 b)
• Central Duplication Office of the TU Dortmund University (Chemistry Building (C2-02-501))
• Copyshop on the south Campus (Baroper Straße 337 a)

Since the winter semester 2014/15, students of the TU Dortmund can get a free ticket for plays at the Dortmund Theatre. Since November 2023, the TU-ticket can only be booked online. Students of the TU Dortmund have to register here for the free ticket. For this, the current certificate of enrolment is required. The registration is valid for the denoted semester on the certificate.

The offer is valid from one week before the performances, if the performance is not sold out. Guest performances and special events are excluded. For premieres, students can only get a free ticket from one hour before the performance, if it is not sold out.

Due to a cooperation between the City of Dortmund, the University Library and the AStA, students of the TU Dortmund can get a free pass to use the city library (Stadt- und Landesbibliothek) near the main station and all branch locations in different neighborhoods in Dortmund. To get the free pass, you have to present a current study certificate or your semester ticket at the library together with your ID card/passport.
Take advantage of the wide range of literature for your free time or your study. Also interesting is the big newspaper archive and the working spaces nearby the main station. The also have a big variety of non-German literature.

As students at TU Dortmund, you can use the metropolradruhr bike-sharing system for free. To do so, you’ll need to register in the Donkey Republic app using your TU email address. This should activate a student account, which will allow you to take advantage of the following rates:

First 60 Minutes	included	0,75€
each additional 30 Minutes	0,50€	0,50€
maximum daily rate	4,50€

Here’s how to activate your account:

1. Register with your TU email address in the Donkey Republic app
2. Go to “Memberships”
3. Select the TU Dortmund student rate
4. Verify your cell phone number.
5. You’ll need to add a payment method, just in case you go over the 60-minute limit.
6. Your benefits are now activated.
