With „w.space“, a writing lab at the Center for Higher Education, you are able to improve your academic writing and communication skills – in German and in English! There, they offer peer consultations as well as writing groups that meet every Friday from 10 am to 2:30 pm in the library plus a bunch of other activities and meetings that give you a chance to improve your academic skills – for free! Since the highway A45 is temporarily closed, you can now (up until 2026) use your semester ticket in IC trains (line 34) between Dortmund and Siegen without having to pay extra. 

The „Straßenmagazin“ is a magazine by the non-profit organization bodo that is sold by homeless people and other people in need. Since we, the AStA, have a magazine subscription, you can simply stop by on campus and take a magazine with you!

Our social counsellor Stella will be on vacation starting August 26th and lasting until September 2nd. 

After that, she’ll be back to her usual schedule. 

The whole AStA team is off on our bi-annual closed conference to team work and better the quality of our work flow. Which is why the AStA will be closed this upcoming Thursday and Friday, August 25th and 26th.
